Coral & Tusk is one of my favorite textile designers and I’m so glad to have visited Stephanie Housley’s studio in Williamsburg. We picked up some things for Foxy & Winston. I am SO excited about her new merit badges and bug pins. I think Julian needs a Patridge badge for all the good work he does. Oh and she also has this dog, Paco, who I might be having a love affair with. THAT face??
I just got some images from San Diego’s AMAZING Jill Thomas of the Tuscany Wedding. How gorgeous is this couple! And the images! It was such a special day and we’re so excited to have been a part of this celebration. I am so glad to see all our work came out so well. The paper details, the origami cranes, the flowers, the food, the design…it all went off flawlessly thanks very much to Casa Cornacchi!
We just got back from FL! Brooke and Dan’s wedding was a blast…and to give you any indication of how good a party it was, the bride ended up in the pool, in her wedding gown!
We made paper chains, programs, table numbers, escort cards, centerpieces, coasters, floral arrangements, you name it! We all did all the organizing and planning so, needless to say, we need a rest. It was the most fun wedding we’ve done yet and here are some detail shots of the event. All images by Portrayable Photography.
Here are some unofficial photos from the lovely wedding we styled this weekend. Cia and Jamie (our dear friends) are a unique and wonderful couple with a shared love of music and food. The company was great and the dance party was even greater. Cheers to good friends and a long happy life together!
The wedding took place in Oakland’s Pizzaiolo. The space is pretty amazing to begin with and I would definitely recommend a trip there if you are in the SF Bay area. The food was extraordinary and even the bride and groom didn’t know the menu until the morning of. The restaurant gets daily deliveries of food, which they use and program each day.
I’ve been working on a project for an upcoming wedding in California. Pennant flags are very popular these days and it is no wonder why! They are charming and just seem to scream celebration. That’s why I thought they would be a perfect fit for Cia and Jamie, the bride and groom. I used 11 different fabrics to do this. Here are some “making of” shots!
