I just finished eating the seven course meal Mr. Vanderberg and I prepared (blame all the Downton Abbey watching). And I didn’t take one picture. Can you believe it? Here’s the menu and some pictures of the prep. And what my table looked liked. I made that tablecloth for Thanksgiving. That’s it.
We celebrated at 3 pm because we’re parents and everyone knows we turn to stone at 9 pm (incidentally, we forced our friends to start celebrating that early as well). But that just gave us a reason to eat different kinds of caviar and smoked fish and drink vodka because 3 pm’s when the Russians started 2013. We ended up making it to New Years in Paris! which was quite a feat. Happy New Year Y’all. Hope it’s a good one.
You were born at this exact moment 1 year ago.
Your party was this weekend. So many people came to see you. Here’s a picture of your first letterpress invitation. And your homemade cake. There were lots of felt banners and many noisemakers. You deserve it.
So excited Vane, at Brooklyn Bride featured the Sampson/Glover wedding we did back in September. Awesome!
We just got back from FL! Brooke and Dan’s wedding was a blast…and to give you any indication of how good a party it was, the bride ended up in the pool, in her wedding gown!
We made paper chains, programs, table numbers, escort cards, centerpieces, coasters, floral arrangements, you name it! We all did all the organizing and planning so, needless to say, we need a rest. It was the most fun wedding we’ve done yet and here are some detail shots of the event. All images by Portrayable Photography.
I just finished a party for Trina and Ji in Long Beach Island, New Jersery…I’ve worked on a number of projects for this including screenprinting the tablecloth, the lace runner and the birthday banner! Finally, I’m so excited to share some pictures.
Oooh and the napkins! My favorite part! I handmade the little guys and then ironed on monograms for each guest that doubled as place settings!
